Blackstoun United AFC v Clyde Valley Rovers

3-4

K.O. 7pm Ferguslie Park Sport Centre Astro Referee Billy Adam

Sorry guys I didn’t get the game until late in the second half I was at my beautiful grand-daughters 5th birthday party in Perth.

All I do know is that in the first half is that we were all over them and should have been several goals up. Instead it was only 3-1.

We lost it in the second half partially due to a few dodgy decisions by the referee. (I can say this because the ref said him self after the game that on reflection he got a few of his decisions wrong. And put it down to the fact that this was his first warm up to the season.) The other reason was that because of our subbing policy that in the second half  there was only two first team players on the park, in an attempt to try out the trial list’s, so it was only natural that our form dipped towards the end.

I know this sound’s like an excuse: what but what the hell it’s our sight and I’m entitled to think what I like.

Now in saying all that from what I saw of the game we still played some good football and Clyde Valley Rovers weren’t a bad team. And I am sure they will fair well in their own league. So good luck to them and thanks for the game.
